Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance/Contracting Quantity Surveyor to join our client's strong commercial team in Coventry. The successful candidate will be working on a 6-month contract covering a Highways Scheme near Coventry.

About the Role
  • Provide commercial reporting, forecasting, and project performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to produce accurate End Life Forecasts.
  • Manage client interface and risk management, including change control and WIP management.
  • Administer contracts and provide contractual advice to the project delivery team.
  • Aid in subcontract procurement and placement, ensuring best value for money and lowest risk.
  • Oversee payment and debt management, post-project appraisals, and feedback loop to the T&E team.
Requirements
  • Must have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor for a civil engineering/infrastruction construction contractor, ideally highways and general civils focused.
  • Must come from a Quantity Surveyor background on similar projects.
  • Must have strong knowledge and experience working with NEC suite of contracts.
Remuneration

The on offer is a day rate of up to £500 per day (dependent upon experience).
