We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our team at VEKA UK. As a Tech Infrastructure Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organisation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, system maintenance, and project coordination across our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with various departments to troubleshoot technical issues, plan and implement new technologies, and ensure seamless system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer prompt and effective support for hardware, software, or network issues.
  • Set up and monitor cybersecurity protections to safeguard our systems from emerging threats.
  • Maintain and upgrade servers, workstations, and other IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement new technologies and system upgrades.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices to drive innovation.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in IT systems administration or support with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with networks, hardware, and software, with a willingness to go above and beyond to assist users.
  • Clear communication skills to simplify complex technical issues for non-technical colleagues.
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering timely and friendly support.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
What We Offer
