Job Description

**Accounts Administrator - Construction**

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Accounts Administrator to join our team at Hunter Mason Consulting Ltd. As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance function, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely production of financial reports using accounting software and payroll systems.
  • Credit control, invoice receipt, verification, processing, and payments.
  • Reconciling invoices, tracking, detecting, and reporting on errors.
  • VAT reconciliations and dealing with finance departments of suppliers.
  • Making customer payments and chasing bad debts.
  • Updating and reconciling petty cash and processing card payments.
  • Entering stock data from weekly stock-takes and invoices.
  • Processing invoices and payments, and preparing financial statements.
  • Providing profitability reporting to management and preparing monthly accounts and VAT returns.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a busy accounts environment.
  • Competent and confident in using accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
