We are seeking a qualified and passionate Coach for Young Learners with Additional Needs to join our team. As a coach, you will work closely with students with various additional needs, developing their physical skills and confidence.
About the Role:- Design and deliver sports and physical education activities tailored to students with SEN, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Support students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, using sports as a medium for engagement and personal development.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and SEN staff to ensure alignment between physical activities and broader educational goals.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and positive attitudes among students, building their confidence and interpersonal skills.
- A background in PE, sports coaching, or physical education is essential.
- Previous experience working in an SEN setting or with young people with additional needs is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to adapt coaching techniques to suit individual needs.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Must hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the update service.
The salary for this role is approximately £90 per day. Working with GSL Education provides you with the opportunity to make a real impact on students' lives, while being supported by a dedicated team of education professionals.
