Ambulance Care Specialists

We are looking for experienced paramedics to fill a full-time permanent position at our Newport Ambulance Station on the Isle of Wight. This exciting opportunity allows you to use your advanced driving skills to respond to emergency calls and incidents.
In this role, you will be required to work as part of an ambulance crew or as a solo responder, providing specialist, clinical, social, and holistic care to patients in a pre-hospital environment. To be successful, you should have a current HCPC registration as a paramedic and a valid C1 driving license.
We offer a competitive salary package including a salary of £37,338 to £44,962 per year, pro rata if part-time, along with flexible working arrangements, an onsite day nursery, cycle-to-work scheme, and discounts at local businesses and gyms.
About the Role:
- To respond to emergency calls and incidents using advanced driving skills and manage emergencies, urgent calls, routine transfers, mainland transfers, and other operational details commensurate with your role and responsibilities.
- To provide specialist, clinical, social, and holistic care to patients in a pre-hospital environment.
- To formulate and deliver critical care plans and treatment for patients in accordance with agreed guidelines, trust/service policy, procedures, and current legislation.
