MMP Consultancy is seeking a skilled Property Surveyor to join a local authority in Westminster on an interim basis. This 6-9 month contract may be extended, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the Area Repairs Manager to develop effective systems for inspecting properties and identifying repair needs.
- Work with colleagues across Housing services to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage resources to respond to fluctuations in workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Highlight key investment needs and considerations for the Property Planning and Assets Team.
- Provide technical support and manage the local delivery of the repairs term partnering contract.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and provide expert knowledge on relevant laws.
- Contribute to strategic leadership within the Housing portfolio and work collaboratively with Members, services, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage complaints and resolve issues quickly, ensuring defects are resolved and claims are processed effectively.
- Expert knowledge of property surveying and repair management.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks effectively.
Salary: £300 per day (umbrella)
Location: Westminster, London
