Job Title: Property Surveyor

MMP Consultancy is seeking a skilled Property Surveyor to join a local authority in Westminster on an interim basis. This 6-9 month contract may be extended, offering a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Area Repairs Manager to develop effective systems for inspecting properties and identifying repair needs.
  • Work with colleagues across Housing services to improve quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage resources to respond to fluctuations in workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Highlight key investment needs and considerations for the Property Planning and Assets Team.
  • Provide technical support and manage the local delivery of the repairs term partnering contract.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and provide expert knowledge on relevant laws.
  • Contribute to strategic leadership within the Housing portfolio and work collaboratively with Members, services, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Manage complaints and resolve issues quickly, ensuring defects are resolved and claims are processed effectively.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of property surveying and repair management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage resources and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: £300 per day (umbrella)

Location: Westminster, London
