Assistant Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Quantity Surveyor in the management of commercial projects, including procurement, package management, variations, valuations, payments, and site meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract administration
  • Manage and coordinate procurement activities, including the preparation of purchase orders and contracts
  • Conduct site meetings and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in commercial projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts, with experience in contract administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience in project management software
