Housing Review Specialist

Park Avenue Recruitment is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housing Reviews Officer to join their team. As a Housing Reviews Officer, you will play a crucial role in carrying out statutory reviews under Section 202 of the Housing Act 1996. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about ensuring that local authorities provide high-quality services to their communities.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of Part VI and VII of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and be able to apply this knowledge effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that reviews are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting statutory reviews under Section 202 of the Housing Act 1996
- Collaborating with local authorities to identify areas for improvement
- Providing expert advice on housing legislation and policy
- Maintaining accurate records of review processes and outcomes
Requirements
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, social work, or a related discipline)
- Proven experience in conducting statutory reviews or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and policy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer
