Senior Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Nurse to join our team at Hire Staff.
Main Responsibilities
As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supervising staff, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver needs-based care.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient programs of care, focusing on risk assessment and risk management strategies.
- Ensure efficient running of the home and creation of an atmosphere conducive to the best interests of residents.
- Report any ill health amongst residents and make requests for GP visits when necessary.
- Support empowerment of residents, maintaining professional responsibility for individuals in our care.
- Complete and maintain individual care plans in conjunction with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals, adhering to NMC guidelines.
- Participate in planning, delivery, and evaluation of specific therapeutic interventions.
- Assess residents in all aspects of their care needs, providing health supervision and attention through direct nursing care when needed.
- Assist with social and healthcare needs of new residents, maintaining ongoing assessment and review of all other patients.
- Carry out regular checks on residents at intervals determined by the Matron.
- Support development of Active Care, Recovery, and rehabilitation processes and practices.
- Administer prescribed medicines and document accordingly, adhering to The Geoghegan Group procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines.
