About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will provide clinical and technical assistance to surgeons during procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Act as a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology, and urology surgery.
  • Work as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.
  • Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.

Requirements

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
