Senior Theatre Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our operating theatre team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of excellent surgical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Act as a Surgical First Assistant, working across a range of specialties including orthopaedic, general, gynaecology, and urology surgery.
  • Promote best practice and contribute to quality improvements within the theatre team.
  • Support the delivery of patient care, prioritizing safety and dignity at all times.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Take charge of the theatre, coordinating and leading junior practitioners as needed.
Requirements:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
