Senior Theatre Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre Team at Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical and technical assistance during surgical procedures, promoting best practice and contributing to quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
  • Act as a Surgical First Assistant (SFA) within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.
  • Work as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.
  • Promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements.
Requirements:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Immediate Life Support provider.
  • Mentorship qualification.
