Senior Scrub Practitioner Vacancy

We are seeking a skilled Scrub Practitioner to join our private hospital in Guildford. This full-time position offers a flexible shift pattern and a competitive salary, along with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Playing the circulation role and promoting a patient-centred approach in partnership with healthcare experts.
  • Completing scrub duties in line with policies and procedures, enhancing quality control, and promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Performing all tasks professionally and competently, including mandatory surgical examinations before, during, and prior to wound closure.
  • Organising, controlling, preparing, and managing the use of surgical instruments and medications for various surgical procedures.
Requirements:
  • To be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) with a valid HCPC pin.
  • Proven track record of working within an operation theatre with relevant scrub procedures.
  • General scrub and circulating skills across a varied range of patient cases.
