Senior Nursery Practitioner Opportunity

At Willing Care, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner to join our Early Years team. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young children.



About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have a proven track record of working in a nursery or early years setting. Leadership experience is desirable but not essential, as we are willing to invest in the development of our team members.



As a Senior Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development. You will also lead and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of care and education across the nursery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, deliver, and assess age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
  • Lead and mentor staff, ensuring high standards of care and education across the nursery
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children to explore, play, and grow
  • Build strong relationships with children and parents, providing regular feedback on children's progress
  • Ensure compliance with EYFS standards and all relevant policies and procedures
  • Support the day-to-day management of the nursery, including staff rotas and room organization
