We are seeking an experienced and passionate teacher to lead our Vocational Art programme at Queen Alexandra College. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, promoting academic growth, self-development, and self-confidence among our students.
Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
This full-time position is available immediately, offering a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including access to on-site car parking, use of QAC Fitness Centre, and 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme Helpline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive Art and Design curriculum that meets the needs of students with special educational needs.
- Work closely with students to identify their strengths and areas for development, and develop individualized plans to support their progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possess a strong background in Vocational Art and experience working with students with special educational needs.
- Hold a relevant teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
