Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Assurance Specialist to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of our operations and maintaining the trust of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Resilience Strategy Development: Develop and implement operational resilience strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the organization's ability to identify and prepare for any operational disruptions.
  • Supplier Oversight: Oversee supplier compliance to the Operational Resilience Policy, ensuring resilient operations within our risk appetite, evidenced by testing.
  • Business Continuity Management: Provide second-line oversight and assurance of suppliers' Business Continuity Management Systems, certified against the BSI ISO22301:2019 standard.
  • Risk Management: Challenge suppliers to evidence appropriate controls for the management and mitigation of their Business Continuity risks.
  • Reporting and Communication: Contribute to reports on testing and assurance activity for senior management, including the Risk Management Committee.
Requirements
  • Business Continuity Qualification: Business Continuity qualification, such as Certificate of Business Continuity Institute (CBCI), and at least Associate Member of BCI working towards full Membership, Diploma, or extensive industry experience.
  • Operational Resilience Experience: Experience overseeing the implementation of operational resilience strategies, policies, standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Supplier Management: Experience challenging suppliers on their business continuity and operational resilience control environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of operational resilience principles, the Business Continuity Institute's Good Practice Guidelines, and BSI ISO22301:2019 standard for Business Continuity Management Systems.
