Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Resilience Specialist to join our team at ION. As a key member of our Operational Resilience function, you will be responsible for designing and implementing education programs to promote resilience across our markets, as well as collaborating with clients and regulatory bodies.

Your primary focus will be on developing and delivering education and awareness programs to support operational resilience best practices, testing, and exercising. You will work closely with our Head of Operational Resilience to contribute to broader resilience, business continuity planning, and crisis management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education programs to promote operational resilience across our markets.
  • Collaborate with clients and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with operational resilience requirements.
  • Manage the ISO 27001 compliance process in coordination with our risk team.
  • Develop client education packs to provide assurance of our operational resilience program.
  • Engage with business and technical stakeholders to create and manage change management processes.
  • Manage the Operational Resilience component of Everbridge and undertake call tree exercising and engagement.
  • Develop communication layers for operational resilience, including BCP flyers and crisis management wallet cards.
  • Contribute to horizon scanning, scenario, and strategic risk analysis to identify potential future risks.
Requirements
  • Experience in an education, risk, or operational resilience function.
  • Prior experience of developing education and awareness programs across complex organizations.
  • Ability to develop training manuals and support documentation for business and technical stakeholders.
  • Management of call tree exercises and employee engagement.
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement, presenting, and using varied education methods.
  • Ability to manage the maturity of our markets' awareness of resilience and demonstrate improved education and knowledge.
  • Alignment with business and technical stakeholders to develop change management and controls processes.
