Administrative Support Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Officer to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be able to work within a team and possess strong communication skills.
This is a full or part-time role providing comprehensive administrative support to the current admin team, associate specialists and other allied health professionals.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating with patients, colleagues, internal and external stakeholders on day-to-day correspondence.
- Receiving telephone calls, accepting messages on behalf of members of the specialty team and taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Prioritising own work efficiently and effectively, highlighting any issues to the Band Lead.
- Taking notes/minutes at meetings regularly.
- Processing mental health referrals.
- Booking appointments.
- Covering reception during sickness and annual leave.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
