Anson McCade is a leading hedge fund that leverages innovative quantitative investment strategies to drive success. We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge models and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Refine Quantitative Models: Design and implement advanced quantitative models to support investment decisions and strategies.
  • Analyze Large Datasets: Utilize large datasets to uncover actionable insights across multiple asset classes and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Investment Teams: Work closely with portfolio managers, risk teams, and traders to integrate quantitative research into the investment process and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Build and Implement Systematic Strategies: Develop, back-test, and implement systematic strategies and tools to improve decision-making and drive business success.
  • Conduct In-Depth Research: Conduct in-depth research on multi-factor models and develop strategies to enhance performance and risk-adjusted returns.
Requirements
  • Advanced Degree: Hold a strong academic background with an advanced degree (Master's, PhD preferred) in Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another highly analytical discipline.
  • Quantitative Research Experience: Possess proven experience in quantitative research, ideally within a hedge fund, asset management, or proprietary trading environment.
  • Expertise in Quantitative Techniques: Demonstrate expertise in portfolio construction, risk management, multi-factor modelling, transaction cost analysis, and market impact modelling.
  • Programming Skills: Possess strong programming skills, particularly in Python, R, or MATLAB, with experience in working with large datasets.
  • Financial Markets Knowledge: Demonstrate familiarity with financial markets, trading strategies, and investment management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
