We are seeking an outstanding SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Clapham. As a dedicated and passionate individual, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students with special educational needs.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires experience supporting students with physical needs, including personal care, manual handling, and therapy sessions. You will work closely with our team to empower students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with physical needs, including personal care and manual handling
  • Assist with therapy sessions to promote student development
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized learning plans
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of autism and PMLD students or a strong care background
  • Manual handling and hoisting training (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
