Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEND Education

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning Ltd. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in our SEND school.

About the Role:

  • Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis with their learning development and care needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential.
  • Valid DBS registration with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
  • Availability to work 5 days a week and commit to at least 1-6 months.
