Empowering Learning is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our team of professionals in primary schools across Tower Hamlets.

About the Role:

  • Supporting Students' Learning: Provide essential support to children across different year groups, including 1:1 support and small group work, to ensure every child reaches their potential.
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) Focus: Work closely with children with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and Speech and Language difficulties, to promote inclusion and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborative Approach: Assist class teachers in delivering tailored learning plans, promoting inclusion, and ensuring every child reaches their potential.
  • Engaging Environment: Foster a positive, nurturing learning atmosphere in line with school values and policies, to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous Experience: Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable, particularly with SEN, to ensure a smooth transition into this role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential to work effectively with children, teachers, and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
