**Job Title:** SEND Learning Support Assistant

**Job Type:** Full-time, Long-term

**Location:** Southwark

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning. As a SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with ADHD, Autism, and Complex Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized support to pupils with SEND, ensuring they can engage in learning and stay on task during lessons and activities.
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Ensure the child is supervised at all times during school hours, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans, enhancing the educational experience for pupils with SEND.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive school culture, fostering strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.

Requirements:

  • Legal right to work in the UK.
  • Subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, or overseas Police clearances (if applicable).
  • Education or care experience.
