Job Title: SEND Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Empowering Learning Ltd. The successful candidate will provide essential support to pupils with ADHD, Autism, and Complex Needs, ensuring they have a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assist with moving and handling when necessary
  • Support pupils with ADHD, Autism, and Complex Needs
  • Ensure school rules are adhered to
  • Work with primary and secondary students with mixed abilities, including SEND
  • Offer support and empathy to children requiring assistance
  • Report health and safety issues on-site to the maintenance team
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and children about any concerns or issues
  • Risk assess the environment and respond accordingly
  • Observe behavior, intervene, and address when necessary, reporting any safeguarding issues through the correct channels
