Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Contact Centre team at Opus People Solutions. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing effective resolution of customer requests and delivering a service that enables customers to increasingly self-serve.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer customer contacts through various channels, providing the best customer experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide clerical support when required.
  • Take payments in accordance with the council's rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a fast-paced, customer-facing office environment.
  • Previous experience in Call Centre roles is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills are vital.
  • A desire to learn, maintain excellent service delivery, and remain calm and accurate under working pressure or challenging situations.

This is an initial 3-month temporary position, based on 37 hours per week full-time at the rate of £13.02 per hour.
