Key Responsibilities- Build trusting relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere in the home.
- Follow lone working protocols and maintain high levels of awareness to health and safety for self, colleagues, and customers.
- Support customers to maintain a healthy and clean living environment, providing assistance with daily living activities as needed.
- Provide support and assistance to customers during the day who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
- Develop and maintain links with key agencies and service providers in the local community.
- Proactively manage health and safety on a daily basis for self, colleagues, and customers.
- Empower customers to ensure they receive the services and benefits they are entitled to.
- Undertake administrative work and maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
We are looking for someone who is fundamentally calm and resilient, with a practical and logical mind and a natural ability to be well-organized. You will be flexible and able to work as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality support to our customers.
Requirements- Up to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience in the social care/charity sector.
- Desirable: experience working in mental health, CQC registered care settings, or delivering personal care/assistance.
