About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. As a Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering service users to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower service users to engage effectively with professionals in the community, including community mental health teams, social work teams, and housing providers.
  • Develop co-produced group activities, peer support networks, and community-based approaches to empower service users.
  • Monitor the health, wellbeing, safety, and security of the service and its users, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly and in line with procedures.
  • Assist the Team Manager in managing health and safety, repairs, and maintenance of the premises.
  • Empower service users to develop independent living skills as part of a planned move-on process.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health and dual diagnosis issues.
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding issues.
