Job Title: Contracts Manager
About the Role:
The Contracts Manager will provide professional legal support services to Operations & Sales teams to assure timely processing of all contract reviews across the UK and Africa Caspian region, while mitigating risk to the business and maximizing benefits where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and revise standard & non-standard contract terms and conditions and agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements for the region.
- Negotiate contracts with customers in line with company standards and guidelines.
- Provide legal support services to Operations and Sales teams to mitigate risks and maximize benefits for TEAM through all contracts and agreements.
- Maintain, organize, and track contracts through approval process.
- Pro-actively manage TEAM's contracts lifecycle management from submission to execution and storage.
- Compile information to prepare periodic and strategic reports and maintain contract database.
- Prepare documents and obtain authorized signatures for negotiated contracts.
- Work closely with the Corporate legal department to enforce legal policies.
- Collaborate with Eastern Hemisphere Commercial Team to expedite time-sensitive reviews, contracts, bids, or proposals.
- Develop and maintain reporting capability on contract lifecycle management workflow transactions and repository as required.
- Manage and coordinate contract bid proposals & tenders across the region.
- Liaise with customers in an approachable, friendly, and helpful manner with thorough follow-up to establish good working relationships and promote healthy communications and feedback between parties.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work to deadlines.
- Strong team player with a proactive, meticulous, and enthusiastic approach.
- High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel and Word.
- High level of reading comprehension, including legal documents and T&Cs is essential.
- Exceptional understanding of legal principles and genuine interest in commercial, legal, or business fields.
- Qualified with a degree in a relevant discipline and/or previous experience working in a similar role is required.
- Paralegal or Contract Administration certification preferred.
