About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join our team in Kendal / Blackburn, UK. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and the Cost Accountant to ensure effective financial control across Anord Mardix projects, focusing on revenue, cash flow, profitability, reporting, and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. The calculation and analysis of project revenue, maintaining the integrity of data that supports the accounts, and ensuring full audit trails for both internal and external audit purposes.
  2. Production of monthly reports on overall project financial performance and gross margin for management reviews.
  3. Managing the project team, including accounts receivable and credit control, ensuring customer invoices are raised in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with contract terms and conditions and management information requirements.
  4. Collaborating with the Senior Finance team on forecasting.
  5. Building financial awareness among non-finance staff across the business.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience and training.
  • Finance-related professional certification courses are preferred (CPA, CMA, CWA, CA, CGA, CFP, APICS).
