About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join our team in Kendal/Blackburn, UK. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and the Cost Accountant to ensure effective financial control across Anord Mardix projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and analyze project revenue while maintaining data integrity for accounting purposes.
  • Produce monthly reports on overall project financial performance and gross margin for management reviews.
  • Manage project teams, including accounts receivable and credit control, ensuring timely and accurate customer invoices.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Finance team on forecasting and develop robust reporting systems for financial performance and contract compliance.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience and training. Typically, 2 years of related experience are required. Finance-related professional certification courses are preferred (CPA, CMA, CWA, CA, CGA, CFP, APICS).
