About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Risk Analyst to join our team at M&T Bank, based in London, United Kingdom. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analysis and statistical modeling to drive business growth and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of analysts in establishing, monitoring, evaluating, and interpreting data with a risk management focus, aligned with business strategy.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance predictive results and improve risk management practices.
  3. Collaborate with the team to identify and address risk-related issues, escalating concerns to management as necessary.
  4. Ensure adherence to M&T Bank's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or a combined minimum of 11 years higher education and/or work experience to include a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Analysis, or another technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience or in lieu of degree, a combined minimum of 11 years higher education and/or work experience to include a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant experience, preferably in Banking or Financial Services.
  • Experience with SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, and other Statistical Software Packages.
  • Advanced Knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
