About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Strategist to join our team at Lombard Odier. As a key member of our Product Development and Business Strategy team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and improving sales effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis and research into sales results and sales effectiveness to inform go-forward sales strategy
  • Work closely with the Senior Sales Strategist to develop and implement sales strategies that drive business growth
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and process efficiency, and implement solutions to address these gaps
  • Develop and deliver sales planning sessions, and ensure that resulting action plans are implemented effectively
  • Build strong relationships with sales team members to facilitate successful work efforts
  • Liaise with internal departments to coordinate and deliver core business management activities
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as necessary, providing sales-related business requirements and guidance
  • Produce high-quality sales and business development presentations as required
  • Create ad-hoc sales and business development reports to support business needs
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working in a strategy or sales role within an asset management organization
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Technical knowledge of financial instruments and markets
  • In-depth knowledge of investment fund and financial regulations
  • Strong knowledge of the mutual fund market landscape
  • Ability to interpret qualitative and quantitative financial data and provide insightful positioning
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical skills that offer insight into sales results and sales effectiveness
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Tableau
