About the Role:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our Middle Office team as a key member. You will work closely with our portfolio management team to provide day-to-day support and ensure the smooth execution of trade support and portfolio valuation functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational control, including reconciliations, aged trade and confirm monitoring.
  • Collaborate with our counterparties and fellow team members to ensure trades are confirmed and settled in a timely manner.
  • Act as a liaison between prime brokers, fund administrators, and internal firm groups to minimize trade discrepancies and resolve breaks promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and implement new ones to achieve an efficient and robust trade lifecycle.
  • Expand your knowledge of products and technology to drive personal growth and development within the Operations team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of middle office experience, preferably with a hedge fund or sell-side firm.
  • Understanding of a variety of macro products, including fixed income and OTC derivatives, FX, FX options, equity/CFDs, and ETDs.
  • A keen eye for detail, a curious mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Demonstrable Microsoft Excel and VBA skills.
  • Highly ethical and integrity-focused individual.
