About The Role

The Software Engineering team at Motability Operations is looking for a talented Software Development Specialist to join our product team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the business in delivering and maintaining software for our internal and external customers.

We are seeking an experienced engineer who shares our passion for building great software. In this role, you will be part of an agile delivery environment with momentum from recent successes and a pipeline of exciting new projects.

About You

We are looking for a Software Development Specialist with commercial Java experience and one or more relevant technologies listed below. We want someone passionate about the craft of software delivery to help build great software for our business.

Minimum Criteria

You will have:

  • Commercial Java experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Spring Boot microservices, React and Node.js frontends, database technologies (e.g. PostgreSQL), messaging technologies (e.g. ActiveMQ or Kafka), Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and Kubernetes platforms (e.g. OpenShift)
