About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team at Motability Operations. As a key member of our communications team, you will play a vital role in delivering our corporate communications strategy, engaging with the media to promote the success of our organization and protect our reputation at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and manage projects with organization-wide significance, working with external and internal partners to deliver effective and consistent communications in support of our business goals.
  • Work with the Head of Media and Communications, and colleagues in the team, to deliver our in-house press office function, including shaping the media engagement strategy, developing relationships with journalists, and producing proactive and reactive content.
  • Act as a business partner and advisor to teams across the organization, providing strategic advice on communications requirements.
  • Work closely with the wider corporate affairs team, as well as the brand and marketing teams, to maximize opportunities to raise awareness and manage the reputation of our organization.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in working in a media relations role.
  • Demonstrable experience of running successful external communications campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
