Job Overview

CREM Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading food manufacturing business to find a Quality Assurance Manager.

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality across all products, developing and implementing quality policies and procedures, and maintaining the site's Quality Manual to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. As part of the leadership team, you will work closely with the Site Manager, Engineering Manager, Production Manager, and Technical Manager, as well as contributing to group-wide strategic projects.

Responsibilities Include:
  1. Quality Assurance: Ensuring the site meets BRC Quality standards and supporting the Technical Manager in this effort.
  2. Audit Preparation: Preparing for and leading customer and regulatory audits.
  3. Quality System Development: Taking the lead on continuous improvement of the Quality and HACCP systems.
  4. Manual Maintenance: Maintaining the site Quality Manual and revising it as necessary to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  5. Audit Performance: Conducting Internal Audits on a regular basis in accordance with the Site Quality Manual.

You will need 5 years of experience in a quality management role or similar position within a regulated industrial or manufacturing environment (preferably food production) and a strong understanding of Quality and Food Safety requirements for the Food Industry (ISO, BRC).
