We are seeking a Quality Management Systems Coordinator to join our team at Emerson in Stafford, TX.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Quality Management Systems Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality management systems (QMS) at Emerson are implemented, maintained, and improved in accordance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and update Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate external audits, product testing, and certifications, tracking findings and ensuring resolution to maintain Emerson's high standards of quality.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, follow up on corrective actions, and verify implementation before closure to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Track and maintain training and certification records for Quality and Operations personnel, including key vendor personnel, to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Manage controlled documents, ensure version control, and distribute updated quality-related documentation to partners to maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Support production with daily reports, handle PO requisitions, coordinate vendor payments, and assist with customer surveys to ensure smooth operations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of experience in quality management or a related field
  • Experience in coordinating, auditing, product certifications (e.g., ISO 9001/ ASME/ NB/API/ ABS/DNV)
  • Proficiency in QMS software and tools

Preferred qualifications that set you apart include:

  • Certified Quality Auditor
  • Industry-specific experience (e.g., Manufacturing of Valves/ Pumps/ pressure containing products)
