Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our rail cost management team in the UK Infrastructure business.

About the Role:

This is a key opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to support our continued growth and make a difference to both our business and the UK infrastructure sector.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other project stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts according to project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver project goals.
  • Effectively manage contract changes and ensure projects adhere to governance and best practices.
  • Provide commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts.
Requirements:
  • Contract Management experience (NEC3, Option C preferred).
  • Cost Management expertise.
  • Sound understanding of Change Management, Valuation, Procurement, Reporting, and Commission Management.
  • Ability to identify and drive efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.

Please note that previous experience or a suitable understanding of the mentioned areas will be advantageous in this role.

Salary:

An estimated salary range for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
