Financial Business Partner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Business Partner to join our global finance team at Victrex. This role will play a critical part in partnering with the manufacturing and supply chain teams to deliver timely and accurate financial analysis, forecasts, and reports. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other teams to identify and deliver Continuous Improvement projects that make a meaningful impact on our results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of insightful financial information and analysis – monthly reporting to the business, including attendance at plant meetings and highlighting variances.
  • Delivery of budget and forecasts for areas of responsibility, using a detailed understanding of key business drivers to forecast future performance.
  • Partnering with manufacturing and supply chain teams on the identification and delivery of Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Supporting the business in the development of investment business cases for capital programmes, including plant expansion, new plants, and sensitivity analysis of options.
  • Supporting finance governance responsibilities in measuring the benefits associated with Continuous Improvements, capital investment, productivity enhancements, and delivery of carbon reduction programmes.

Requirements:

  • Recognised accounting qualification or equivalent and professional membership of a relevant finance body.
  • Excellent IT skills to enable effective modelling and data manipulation.
  • Experience in the preparation of business cases, financial modelling, and influencing key business decisions.
  • Ability to partner closely with key stakeholders in the business and present financial information and analysis in an "easy to understand" way for non-financial managers.
