About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Business Partner to join our global finance team at Victrex Manufacturing Ltd.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with excellent financial and business acumen to partner closely with key stakeholders in the manufacturing and supply chain teams, drive financial insights, and support informed decision-making.

As a Senior Financial Business Partner, you will play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate financial analysis, forecasts, and reports. You will also work closely with the manufacturing and supply chain teams on continuous improvement projects, ensuring a meaningful impact on the results of the relevant plant/supply chain areas and the group as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivery of insightful financial information and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Monthly reporting to the business, including attendance at plant meetings, highlighting and explaining variances, and supporting half-year and full-year audit schedules
  • Delivery of budget and forecasts for areas of responsibility, using detailed understanding of key business drivers to forecast future performance, highlighting risks and opportunities, and contributing towards gap closure challenges
  • Partnering with the manufacturing and supply chain teams on identification and delivery of continuous improvement projects, making a meaningful impact on the results of the relevant plant/supply chain areas and the group
  • Supporting the business in the development of investment business cases for capital programmes, including plant expansion, new plants, and sensitivity analysis of options and their impact on the group's financial metrics
Requirements and Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with the ability to partner closely with key stakeholders in the business, be a trusted financial advisor, and present financial information and analysis in an easy-to-understand way for non-financial managers.

You will possess excellent IT skills to enable effective modelling and data manipulation, experience in the preparation of business cases, financial modelling, and influencing key business decisions through these activities.

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or equivalent and professional membership of a relevant Finance body is essential for this role.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive starting salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, based on qualification and experience. Our benefits include 29 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, the possibility to purchase up to an additional two weeks of leave, a competitive pension scheme with employer contributions of up to 14%, annual bonus scheme, share options, and private medical insurance.
