We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Paramedic to join our Primary Care team at HMP Lewes, a category B male prison located in the heart of Lewes. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to make a real difference in the lives of patients and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to a small team of paramedics and ensure the provision of safe and effective patient care.
  • Undertake assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the healthcare centre and on the wings/blocks.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV access, hemorrhage control, wound care, and cardiac/CVA intervention.

Requirements
  • Qualified Paramedic and registered with the HCPC with post-qualification experience.
  • ILS training and certificates.
  • Evidence of appropriate continuing professional development activity to maintain up-to-date knowledge and on-going competence in all aspects of the role.
  • Evidence of working autonomously and as part of a team.
