Job Description
This is a unique opportunity to join our integrated Mental Healthcare team at HMP Lewes as a Clinical/Forensic or Counselling Psychologist. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.
You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement effective treatment plans, using evidence-based approaches and best practices in forensic mental health care. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting the development of the psychological therapies service and contributing to the growth of our team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supporting the development of the psychological therapies service
- Delivering and overseeing the delivery of 1:1 psychological interventions and group intervention
- Providing clinical support and oversight to the Integrated Mental Health Team (IMHT)
- Conducting psychological assessments and contributing to multi-disciplinary formulations
**Requirements:** Proven post-qualification professional experience in Clinical/Forensic Psychology, with a strong track record of working with Forensic Mental Health patients and psychological trauma. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
