We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to support children with moderate learning difficulties and additional mental health needs at our school in Lewes.

This role is ideal for recent Psychology Graduates who have career aspirations in behavioural neuroscience, clinical, counselling, developmental, educational, neuropsychology, physiological, school and social psychology roles.

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work with children aged 4-16 who have experienced trauma or neglect, exhibiting challenging behaviour, ADHD or Autism, and developed mental health issues due to their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional support and stability to students with complex needs
  • Assisting with daily living skills, social interactions, and academic development
  • Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create tailored intervention plans
