About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Designer to join our multidisciplinary team at Solirius Consulting. As a Lead Designer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative digital products and services for our Government and Private Sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead design workshops and activities to create products and services that meet the needs of users and clients.
  • Develop and implement user-centred design strategies to ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to co-design products and services that meet user needs.
  • Support the Head of Design in building and managing Solirius' design community and ensuring a consistent approach to design.
  • Develop and document design practices to ensure the work we do has integrity and provides value.
Requirements
  • Strong design generalist skills, including content, interaction, UX, and service design.
  • Experience working with agile development teams and stakeholders to co-design products and services.
  • Ability to understand and facilitate user research, synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research data, and communication of insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience with rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration of solution designs.
  • Ability to support and coach teams and stakeholders in the use of user-centred design and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the Government Service Standard and experience working to this standard.
