About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Designer to join our multidisciplinary team at Solirius Consulting. As a Lead Designer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering innovative digital products and services for our Government and Private Sector clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create user-centred design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and their users.
  • Develop and implement design strategies that align with our clients' business objectives and user needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand client needs and develop design solutions that meet those needs.
  • Lead design workshops and activities to gather user insights, develop design concepts, and test usability.
  • Collaborate with agile development teams to co-design products and services that meet user needs.
  • Advocate for high standards of usability, accessibility, and inclusivity in our design solutions.
  • Support the development of Solirius' internal culture, tools, processes, and growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Strong user-centred design skills, with experience in planning and leading design workshops and activities.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex design concepts to stakeholders.
  • Experience working with agile development teams and stakeholders to co-design products and services.
  • Strong understanding of the Government Service Standard and ability to work to this standard.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to facilitate and communicate design solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong collaboration and leadership skills.
