Design Lead Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and imaginative designer to lead our major upcoming exhibition, the rehang of our award-winning Photography Centre, and the re-interpretation of our South Asia Gallery. The successful candidate will also be responsible for a range of small display and furniture projects for the museum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute design concepts for exhibitions and projects, working collaboratively with curators, colleagues, and collaborators.
  • Lead the design team in creating an outstanding experience for local and international audiences.
  • Manage design projects from concept to completion, including client feedback and production practicalities.
  • Create proposals for projects, including mock-ups, pitch, and presentation material.
  • Utilize Vectorworks, Sketch-up, V-ray, 3dMax, and Adobe Creative Suite to deliver high-quality designs.
Requirements
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking, curiosity, and an abundance of design ideas.
  • Demonstrable ability to take design concepts through to excellent final execution.
  • Experience creating great proposals for projects, including mock-ups, pitch, and presentation material.
  • Excellent technical skills, including Vectorworks, Sketch-up, V-ray, 3dMax, and Adobe Creative Suite.
