Warehouse Operations Manager

Decormax Limited, a family-owned national distributor of Decorative and Raw Wood Based Panel products, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to assist with continued growth.

This key role is responsible for the general day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in full, stock is located and maintained, and health and safety protocols are upheld. The successful candidate will work closely with the National Operations Manager, transport, and procurement teams to ensure smooth and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain a high-performing warehouse team, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve stock management, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the transport and procurement teams to optimize logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Trade counter experience is advantageous.
