Job Summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in a residential care setting. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily assessments and develop care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Supervise and support junior support workers to ensure high-quality care delivery
  • Participate in care planning and coaching support workers to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Take an active role in promoting the services offered by the care home, engaging with relatives, prospective residents, and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and resident documentation
  • Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a care setting, preferably in a senior support worker role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external stakeholders
  • Good understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and medication administration
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care
