To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.
As a Senior Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents
- Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
- Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
- Being responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
- Administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
The successful candidate will receive an excellent salary of £13.50 per hour and the annual salary is £25,272 per annum. This permanent full-time role working 36 hours a week on days offers a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, comprehensive induction and paid training programme, enhanced rates for bank holidays, recognition schemes, paid breaks, uniform provided, refer a friend scheme, costs for an enhanced DBS, and rewards for years of service.
