About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Care Team Manager to join our team at The Care Bureau. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting Care Workers and clients in the field, providing guidance and support while building strong working partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of Care Workers and other designated Juniors in the field
  • Assist the Scheduler with completing weekly care worker Rota's
  • Complete Care assessments & Reviews
  • Conduct Spot checks and Audits
  • Assist the Scheduler to ensure that rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned to consider travel time
  • Plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker
  • Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations in respect of developing and delivering holistic, person-centred care packages
  • Support the care manager with customer visits when required
  • Ensure all carer and customer records maintained are kept up to date, ensuring any changes in persons care are recorded and actioned accordingly
  • Cover calls as and when needs arise
  • Take part in the on-call out-of-hours service as required

Requirements:

  • Experienced in a senior position within care
  • Kind and compassionate people, looking to make a difference
  • Available for the shift patterns 6:30am till 2pm and 3pm till 10:30pm, including a commitment to work alternate weekends
  • Able to drive, has a valid license and own vehicle
